Feeling Under the Weather?

Feeling Under the Weather?

Happy Fall! 🧡 October is here! So is pumpkin spice and everything not so nice, ahem….colds, viruses and flu bugs. No thank you!

I recently shared an Instagram reel with my favorite immune-fortifying supplements. You can check out all my favorite preventative supplements and follow along on Instagram here.

Since it’s not uncommon with the change of seasons to feel run down or to catch a cold, I thought I would share with you some other natural ways to support your body to thrive during this time of year.

✅  FAST

Fasting is nature’s great healer! The body is so smart. It truly has all the answers. No appetite? Don’t force it—trust your body’s signals!  Letting your digestive system rest allows the rest of your body to focus on deeper healing.

HYDRATE

Staying hydrated with cold-pressed veggie juice, broths, herbal teas, coconut water, and water with a high-quality electrolyte (my favorite is LMNT) is a great way to support your body at a cellular level.

EAT LIGHT

Opt for nourishing foods that your body can easily digest and eliminate. In addition to fresh pressed veggie juices, think bone broth, veggie, or miso soup. Don’t forget the garlic and ginger. My Radiance Green Smoothie recipe is a good one too.

DETOX

This is a big one. Making sure your detox pathways are open will help unburden your immune system. Sit in the sauna to get a good sweat on. Do an enema or get a colonic. Dry brush and do some gentle movement to move your lymph.

REST

Getting extra sleep is key to keeping sickness at bay and recovering quickly. At the very first signs of feeling run down, prioritize rest. This is the time to cancel any unnecessary appointments or commitments, and skip the hard core workout. Cozy up on the couch and take a nap instead.

I hope this is helpful! Be sure to save this for later if you are feeling on top of your game right now!

Warmly,

Jules
